A great date night doesn't have to wait until the weekend. Every Tuesday at the Speakeasy Theatre, Burlesque Life Drawing turns a mid-week evening into something genuinely memorable with the team from Drawing Straws.
Part art class, part performance, you and your partner or pals pick up a pencil, take your drinks and sketch burlesque performers in a beautiful setting.
No artistic talent required, only a sense of humour and an open mind. It's playful, original and makes for a story you'll be telling for a while.
What a wonderful venue with wonderful people! 😊 Coming here on a Tues evening to enjoy some Burlesque Life Drawing. Coming upstairs made you feel as if you were returning to a different era. We enjoyed some beer and wine from the bar. We came inside and did a few drawing exercises. There was a few 30sec drawings and some longer ones. Coming home with 6/7 of our own drawings.
Taking the art work home and now they are on the wall. Thank you for the lovely experience for all the staff and performers. Look forward to booking another one next time we visit 😉 - Tim (Google Reviews)
