Joined by Dirk, a fellow visionary turned co-owner, and the dedicated team of staff and performers, Tammy's dream blossomed into reality. Together, they crafted a haven where the echoes of laughter and the melodies of music intertwine, weaving a tapestry of warmth and inclusion. Through their collective efforts, Speakeasy emerged not just as a venue, but as a beacon of community, a safe harbor for creativity to flourish.

 Meet Dirk, the multifaceted force behind Speakeasy, now proudly serving as co-owner. With a rich background in theatre, screen, cabaret, and burlesque, Dirk brings a wealth of experience to curating and managing our productions. As the charismatic "Jack London," our theatre's Vaudeville Host and Cabaret Star, Dirk captivates audiences with his stunning costumes, razor-sharp wit, and impeccable comic timing. Renowned as one of Melbourne's most unique performers, he promises to dazzle, delight, and possibly even shade you. Join us in celebrating Dirk's boundless creativity and his integral role in shaping the vibrant tapestry of Speakeasy, where every performance is a testament to his passion and talent.

 Evie Faeya is a dark fae spirited with the element of fire. Mysterious  and fiercely elegant, she graces audiences with stunning flexibility and  a sultry charm.   A multi-talented performing artist with a creative spark found in;  ritual theatre, street dance, dancehall, salsa, contortion and fire  performance. Dancing over the span of her entire life, Evie is trained  in classical, modern, cultural, street and circus arts. Wearing the hats  of a dancer, choreographer, performer and teacher. Evie also performs  with a collection of props, including; fire palms, fire eating staffs,  dance flags, silk and fire fans.   Evie Faeya is a resident performer for speakeasy theatre in the  vaudeville show. Additionally she represents eclectica hub as a  choreographer/ dancer and out n bad as a dancer. 

He's the last of the indestructible Idiots, A relic from a bygone age. She was born tired of your shit and has only gotten worse. 

When he's not running tech for our shows, Mad Vlad combines comedy, traditional strongman feats, and extreme sideshow to give you an experience you won't find anywhere else. 

Being mute doesn't stop Babushka letting you know exactly what she thinks of your shenanigans. She is consistently our audience's favorite performer, and deliverer of drinks and popcorney treats. These veteran performers appear in our weekly vaudeville revue as well as various other venues in Melbourne and interstate. 

 Mazz Matta is a performer unlike anything or anyone since the late Andy Kaufman. 

Born in Lebanon, raised in the Southern USA and now living in Australia he creates a mix all his own. 

He has mastered the highest levels of obscurity, bizzareness and deadpan delivery, and is a hypnotic prop performer.

One of the most complex and simple acts ever created.

A creation of very few words, with so much being said.
